About Dana Schnell
Congratulations on investing in yourself and your growth. Seeking support during life's transitions takes courage, and I am honored to walk alongside people as they navigate change, deepen self-awareness, and create more intentional lives.
My coaching is deeply informed by my own journey of healing codependent patterns, developing healthy boundaries, and living with chronic pain. Through this work, I discovered a powerful connection between emotional and physical pain: both can become familiar patterns that our brains learn to perceive as safe, even when they no longer serve us. This understanding has shaped both my personal growth and my coaching philosophy.
I specialize in helping people identify the beliefs, habits, and relationship patterns that may be keeping them stuck. Whether you are navigating relationship challenges, redefining your relationship with alcohol, living with chronic pain, or working toward greater self-trust and well-being, I provide a compassionate space for reflection, growth, and meaningful change.
My coaching style balances support with gentle challenge. I believe lasting transformation begins with awareness, curiosity, and self-compassion. Through thoughtful questions, active listening, and honest feedback, I help clients uncover their own wisdom, strengthen resilience, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Before becoming a coach, I spent more than 25 years as a middle school health and wellness educator, helping young people develop skills for healthy living and personal growth. Today, I bring that same passion for learning, empowerment, and human connection into my coaching practice.
I hold a Master's Degree in Community Psychology and a Master's Degree in Education and am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation. I am also certified in holistic coaching and chronic pain coaching.
When I'm not coaching, you'll likely find me outdoors with my husband, stepchildren, two dogs, seven chickens, and a tank full of fish. Nature has always been one of my greatest teachers, reminding me to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most.
